Orlando City FC is set to kick off the 2017 USL season with its first home game in Orlando’s Citrus Bowl, but the team’s homecoming season is not set to begin until the middle of February.
The first home games will take place on March 16 against Louisville City FC.
The team’s third home game will be against FC Cincinnati on March 24, but neither game will take a significant toll on the team.
The only games that will have significant impacts on the schedule are home matches against Orlando City and Orlando City B in early February.
It will be interesting to see how Orlando City adjusts to playing at home after spending the majority of the season at the Citrus in Orlando.
While the Citronas capacity is only 14,000, the home team’s season average is closer to 20,000.
The Citrus is one of the largest venues in the league, and it has been used as the team and club’s home since 2015.
It is a major draw for Orlando City fans, who are accustomed to seeing the club play in front of a sold-out crowd.
It has been one of Orlando City’s most popular venues since its opening.
The 2017 USL regular season is set for March 16-26.
