Ingredients 1.1-1.2 tbsp oil (use olive oil) 2-4 cloves garlic, crushed (or grated) 2 tsp red chili powder (or to taste) 1 tsp ground cumin (or ground coriander) 1/2 tsp black pepper 1 tbsp dried oregano (or dried basil) 1 tbsp white pepper 1 tsp paprika (or other spices) 1 1/4 cups dry or fresh basil leaves (optional) Directions Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
Add the garlic and cook for a few minutes until golden brown.
Add in the chili powder, red chili and cumin, and cook another minute or two.
Add all the other spices and cook a minute more.
Add oreganol and pepper, then cook until fragrant.
Remove from heat and add basil leaves.
Let cool a little while, then strain through a fine mesh sieve.
Store in an airtight container or jar in the fridge.
